Wessex Catering - Terms & Conditions

It is the aim of Wessex Catering to give every client the function/event they want and expect and to make their booking with total confidence. Written confirmation, or receipt of a deposit for a booking implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. PAYMENT
1.1 Corporate accounts where credit facilities exist, strictly 14 days net from date of invoice (unless otherwise agreed).
1.2 All other reservations, 50% with booking, 50% 30 days prior to event.
1.3 For events with reservations longer than 12months, 10% non refundable deposit with booking, 40% due 6 months prior to the event, balance of 50% due 30 days prior to the event.
1.4 All functions require written confirmation to Wessex Catering, accompanied by the required deposit within fourteen days of the booking. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of a cancellation. If the company has received no confirmation or deposit the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by the customer.
1.5 In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed event the following charges apply: If the cancellation is made with than 30 days notice, the full value of the event will be charged. If the cancellation is made prior to 30 days, then 50% of the total value of the event will be charged.
1.6 Cheques must be payable to Wessex Catering.

2. NUMBERS
2.1 Confirmation of final numbers attending the function must be provided one month prior to the event. The number notified will be the minimum figure charged. A variation of increased numbers may require the costing of the event to be reviewed.

3. LIABILITY
3.1 Clients and their guests must adhere to their Company's Health & Safety Policy which is available on request.
3.2 The company advise that all food must be consumed after two hours of initial serving, therefore any food consumed after two or more hours of it first being served is at the clients discretion and therefore becomes their responsibility.

4.0 CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION
Whilst Wessex Catering will always endeavour to provide you with the highest standard of service possible any customer complaint can be discussed with one of our management staff through direct conversation, mail or by E-mail.

5.0 DELIVERY
Included within the prices quoted for a 15-mile radius from Wessex Catering. Delivery charges will apply thereafter, dependant upon distance unless otherwise agreed.

6.0 MENUS
The Company reserves the right to substitute any item in the chosen menu for an appropriate alternative due to seasonal availability on certain food stock.
